New Sustainable Neighborhood Non-Profit to Hold Benefit Dinner
Connecting Neighbors to Create a Sustainable Future
Boulder, Colorado, May 27, 2008. Creating a sustainable future is the most important work of our time. Neighborhoods are vital places where we can begin this work. The Institute for Intentionally Sustainable Neighborhood’s (IISN’s) mission is to connect neighbors to create a more sustainable future.
IISN will host a benefit dinner to support its internship program and operations. County Commissioner and sustainability guru, Will Toor, will keynote the event. Event participants are invited to engage in meaningful conversation about the importance of neighborhood connections, meet IISN staff and interns, and enjoy a festive atmosphere at Organic Orbit: Eco-Fine Dining.
The event will be Sunday June 8 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Organic Orbit: eco-fine dining, located at 1200 Yarmouth Avenue in north Boulder. Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $50-$500 per person.
