Boulder Housing Partners

BHP is the housing authority for the City of Boulder, Colorado and served as the Master Developer for the Holiday neighborhood. Development Director Cindy Brown has played a strategic role in both the creation of IISN and in IISN pilot programs in the Holiday neighborhood. 

Children, Youth and Environments Center for Research and Design (CYE)

CYE works to promote the health, safety and welfare of children and youth and is based in the College of Architecture and Design at the University of Colorado. CYE and IISN co-sponsored a visit by Professor Matthew Kaplan of Penn State University, the creator of the Futures Festival model. Professor Kaplan’s public presentations and a Train-the-Trainer workshop at the Wild Sage Cohousing Common House in the Holiday neighborhood served as a catalyst for the Holiday Futures Festival for Neighborhood Sustainability. 

Holiday Neighborhood Home Owner Association

The Holiday Neighborhood HOA serves as the Master Home Owner Association for the Holiday neighborhood, which includes about a dozen sub-neighborhoods. The Master HOA has served as a strategic partner in IISN pilot programs in the Holiday neighborhood. 

Wonderland Hill Development Company (WHDC)

WHDC builds sustainable communities based on the cohousing concepts that combine personal values, community, organic design and sustainable building practices. In addition to locating their offices in the neighborhood, WHDC built three sub-neighborhoods in Holiday. In addition to providing seed money to fund organizational start-up costs, WHDC provides an in-kind donation of office space for IISN.
